Each year we set the debate agenda prior to attending freshers week, so that students can have a ‘vague’ idea of what kind of debates we will be hosting throughout the year. This year, we hope to host the following debates:
- Should abortion be legal?
- Is God the source of Morality?
- Did Jesus rise from the dead?
- Home-schooling V. Public-schooling?
- Does God exist?
These are the debates we are definitely hosting. If you have an idea for a debate, and we don’t have it on our agenda, contact us on debates@kingston.ac.uk

The expensive problem intimate partner violence causes in Britain. How is it stopped? Which approaches must be taken to decrease violence within relationships?
That’s a good idea, and topic to have a debate on. How do you think the motion for this debate will be set?
